Namaste everyone!

My name is Kevin and I will be guiding you, alongside Lou, on this incredible journey through the rooftop of the world.  I want to give you all a warm welcome and say how thrilled I am to be your instructor for the 2016 NAT program!  I know you are getting incredibly excited for this program and I can say that I am right there with you!

Let me tell you a bit about myself.  I first traveled to Thailand in 2008, after finishing university, to learn about Asian cultures, take photos, breakdance (poorly) and meet as many people as possible.  I quickly fell in love with the idea of combining education and travel and I was lucky to land a job leading photography and adventure trips throughout Southeast Asia.  I also started to develop a passion for human rights and have spent a lot of time listening to stories from refugees, migrant workers and ethnic soldiers.  There's a lot going on socially, politically, and culturally in Nepal and Tibet and I'm looking forward to diving into some of these issues with you all!

I'm a connoisseur of many things we practice on this trip...meditation, yoga, hiking, camping, etc.  I can't wait to undertake these practices with you in some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world.

This region took my heart from the second I first crossed the border from India 6 years ago.   I believe it is easily one of the most colorful and culturally rich places around today.  Some things still confuse me and might seem odd at times, but I strive to understand things from different perspectives. In the end, a smile and an inquisitive mind can mean all the difference in the world while traveling.

I hope you all have a great flight over and I can't wait to meet you and begin this amazing journey!   See you soon!

Kevin
