The awards just keep on coming this year! Just a week after being voted as the #1 Gap Year Provider of 2021 by GoAbroad students, we got voted as one of the Top Gap Year Providers for Fun and Safety by students on Go Overseas!

We love to combine fun and learning, and it's great to hear that our alumni had a great time on our gap year programs this year. Time flies when you're having fun after all!
The outdoor adventures (a core component of each one of our programs) are often a highlight on program, and where the fun gets amped up. Who wouldn't want to go surfing in Hawaii, snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef, scuba diving in Thailand, rafting in Costa Rica, or canoeing through the Amazon jungle?

Safety is something we pride ourselves on at Pacific Discovery, so it feels amazing to be recognized for the efforts we go through. With our 20 years of operation and more than 100,000 student days in the field, we have an excellent safety record, and student welfare is our core focus. We have personally visited, assessed and maintain an ongoing relationship with every service project, activity, accommodation and transport provider that we use. On top of that, our Program Instructors are trained in safety assessment and management.
We have also been accredited by the Gap Year Association. This means that a student can count on an experience with the highest caliber of field leadership, the best degree of support, and the highest standards of safety. Assessors have commented that our systems are among the best they have observed!
