Big news for Pacific Discovery! We feel honored to be named a 2022 Innovation Award Finalist by GoAbroad in not one, but two categories!
These GoAbroad Innovation Awards put the spotlight on the best in innovation, originality, creativity and exceptional ideas in international education. They acknowledge institutions and organizations moving the field forward, and commend leaders in the community for their efforts to go beyond the conventional.
No wonder we are thrilled that our newest Thailand Mini Semester Program got nominated in the Innovative New Volunteer Program category! The combination of wildlife, environmental and cultural volunteer work at a variety of Thai organizations has given our students the chance to go home with a better understanding of issues facing this part of the word, and it feels amazing to be recognised for this.
Our creative marketing team and the Gap Year Program Quiz also got nominated for Innovation in Marketing & Digital Media. This quiz guides our students to the best possible gap year program for them. The core components in all of our gap year programs may all be the same, but the activities can vary dramatically depending on the destination. That’s why this quiz was not designed to lead students to their favorite travel destination, but instead to the program that would suit them best.
