Instructor Intro: Sarah Harvey
I'm really looking forward to meeting you all on your New Zealand Australia Fall Program! I just wanted to share a little bit about me, so you feel you know me a little better before we meet in September!
My name is Sarah and I have a deep love for the outdoors. This love stems from my early years growing up on a farm in South East Queensland. I've worked as a newspaper photographer for a number of years, before I decided to put down the camera and pick up my passport permanently, embarking on a life of travel.
I combine my passion for the outdoors with my love of language and culture. I've been hiking and biking around different continents, and treating my palate to a wide variety of flavours along the way. I have lived in Brazil and France, hiked the south island of New Zealand, eaten tsampa with monks in Zanskar Valley, spotted monkeys while translating Spanish in the Peruvian Amazon, climbed to the top of mountains in Morocco, explored magnificent valleys in Nepal, meditated in Bulgaria and volunteered in Albania. Five years later and my passion for travel, language and culture continue to grow as I immerse myself in my surroundings!
I'm so excited to explore Australia and New Zealand with you shortly!
