On this page:
› enrollment for non-UO students › enrollment for UO students › on-line course readingsUniversity of Oregon International Studies credit is offered on the Pacific Discovery Southeast Asia Semester Program through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. The courses have been designed specifically for this program, are facilitated in an incredibly stimulating learning environment, and are thus highly relevant to the whole experience. It is important to note that the courses are mostly self-directed and require motivation, maturity and diligence on the part of the student to ensure their coursework is completed by due dates, to a high standard. If you are a gap year or non-UO freshman student it may be more appropriate to take the SCC credit offered on this program.
Course facilitation generally follows this model
Pre-trip: assigned readings; preparation research/questionsThroughout the trip: research; journalling; study sessions, discussions and seminars; submission of essays
Post-trip: Completion of coursework; submission of papers

Your UO student ID and PAC numbers will be mailed to you by the UO. As soon as you receive these, email your UO student ID number to Pacific Discovery with the request to be registered for 8 credits of INTL 406. We will then send a 'request to register' to the International Studies Department, who will register you for this credit. We will notify you by email once this is done, and you have been registered for the course.3. Check your class registration via Duckweb
